Terry Kinsman

This page was first published in May 2010

Terry first joined the choir as a founder member whilst serving in Kent Police, singing with the choir for a few years until he had to leave due to other commitments. After retiring from the police in 1996, Terry joined the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to manage fundraising in the South East, until his 'second' retirement in 2009. In April 2010, thanks to the encouragement of another member Paul Cox, Terry returned to the choir as a regular member. Terry continues as a highly valued member of the second tenor section.

Terry is married to Sue, and lives in Bearsted near Maidstone. His son James recently completed a university degree in electronic engineering, and married his fellow Bearsted student Fiona at the end of the course, moving to Stevenage. Now that Terry is retired, he finds time to do all those jobs he has been putting off for the last 15 years! He is an active member of Rotary, and his local catholic church, where he also sings with their very small choir. Sue and Terry enjoy caravanning, gardening, country walking and travel, and Terry has now become a volunteer supporter of the BHF. Terry also helps with the local scout troop on an occasional basis.

It's great to have you back with us Terry.
