Stewart Biggs

This page was first published in January 2008

Stewart joined the choir in January 2008, having been introduced by one of our baritones, Paul Cox.

He has previous musical and singing experience with various choirs and trained as an organist between 1971 and 1975. He has sung with church choirs on and off over the years. He also plays keyboards (organ and piano) and has dabbled with the guitar, banjo and clarinet.

Stewart lives in the Medway area and has two daughters, one is a solicitor and the other a teacher.

He started his working life in civil engineering and worked first for Kent County Council and then for an international construction company, travelling in the United Kingdom and overseas. He was called into the ordained ministry of the Church of England in 1998, but has since moved on to Kent County Council as a public rights of way officer.

Stewart is very keen on football and badminton and swims every weekday morning. He is especially interested in property development, DIY and music of course.

We're glad to have your expertise in the bass section of the choir Stewart. Thank you.
