Keith joined in the early days after conversations with a former member who left the choir some years ago. He originally sang as a baritone but at a time when we badly needed basses he moved over to that section and has stayed to this day.
He has always been an active sportsman, playing football and golf for divisional and county police teams as well as representing his then local village side of Lamberhurst. He also played table tennis and bowls and in retirement has again taken up bowls. He is greenkeeper at his local club and keeps himself busy these days with a variety of occupations, mainly gardening and some printing work.
Keith is a frequent visitor to Spain. He is well established there and has made some friends. He put his acting talents on show in Spain for a charity performance when he played a drunken waiter. He has also performed on stage at Herne Bay, Kent, again for charity.
