Dave Wylie

This page was first published in November 2006

Dave was introduced to the choir by former member Malcolm Underdown in 1992 and he sings in the baritone section. Dave served as an Area Officer with the Special Constabulary at Dartford and Gravesend police stations. He also received a Long Service Medal. In 2001, he was honoured by being made a Freeman of the City of London.

He enjoys diy, watching cricket and listening to classical music, including male voice choirs. He is also an active worker for local charities.

Dave has trained as a professional toastmaster and master of ceremonies and uses this talent brilliantly at our annual choir dinners. This 'string to his bow' also takes him all over the South of England keeping him a very busy man.

Dave works on the Isle of Dogs in London and is looking forward to retiring, so that he can spend more time with his wife Gill, his children and grandchildren.
