Chris sings in the baritone section of the choir. He was one of the original founder members. Shortly after the choir's inception he was posted to a new job in the police, where the hours of work were not compatible with choir practices and concerts. Chris therefore had to part company with the choir. However, he rejoined in early 2002 after persuasion by two members who happen to be his neighbours.
Chris has previous singing experience as a member of a church choir and of a Gilbert and Sullivan society. He has always had an interest in music.
After retiring from the police service he worked for eight years as an insurance claims investigator, following which he changed career again to take a job as operations manager for a Kent based travel company. Like other members Chris is enjoying retirement, but he is always 'on the go' as our hard working secretary.
Chris likes gardening and takes a keen interest in cricket. He also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
We're glad you rejoined us Chris. Welcome back!
