Wendy Heaton
|
Wendy Heaton (BMus MTC), began as one of two choir piano accompanists in 1988 and since 1999 has continued alone, following the departure of Ann Parnham, who previously shared the responsibility with her.
The Choir are fortunate indeed to have the services of such an accomplished musician as Wendy. She leads a full and active life, combining her home activities of looking after her policeman husband Rob and her four children, with choir rehearsals, concerts and other musical interests - to say nothing of having a full time job as head of music at Sutton Valence Preparatory School!
Wendy has taken part in the London to Brighton cycle run to raise funds for charity and she keeps fit by cycling. How do you find time to do all this Wendy?
Wendy was educated at Bromley High School and later studied at London University before taking up a career teaching music and german language. She lives near Ashford, Kent, with her family and the choir are eternally grateful for her considerable efforts on our behalf.
Our sincere thanks are extended to her husband Rob for his support and her children for allowing us to steal their mum so often!
